The Archbishops' Council is a part of the governance structure of the Independent Anglican Church - Canada Synod (1934). The Council was created to provide a central body of member bishops rooted in our diocesan structure to co-ordinate and lead the work of the Church. All members hold presiding bishop status and work in leadership within their local diocese or religious order.
