Bibles for Africa campaign

The Independent Anglican Church in Malawi and Mozambique

The Independent Anglican Church supports parishes in Malawi and Mozambique, which are among the poorest countries in the world. In cooperation with Bishop Evance Unyolo, Bishop of our Missionary Diocese of Saint John the Evangelist (Malawi and Mozambique), we are beginning a fund-raising project to provide bibles for the people of this area.

Under Bishop Evance’s leadership they have begun building churches, but the obstacles are tremendous. Recently torrential rains have destroyed one of their churches.

We invite you to help these people in their lives and in their faith by contributing to Bibles for Africa. Any amount of money is most welcome.

Donations (cheque or cash) can be made in person to any of our clergy (cheques should be made out to ‘St. Matthew’s Cathedral’): Please place your donation in an envelope and mark it ‘Bibles for Africa’ or mail it to Archbishop Peter Goodrich, The Rectory, 1-192 Livingston Ave, Grimsby, Ontario L3M 5R7.

Donations can be made on-line here: https://stmarythevirginhamilton.com/givings/ Please mark in the memo box: ‘Bibles for Africa’.

All donations accompanied by a name and address will receive a tax-reciept at the end of the year. Thank you for your support, and may God bless all of us as we strive to serve Him.
